DAY 8 – TURN THAT FROWN UPSIDE DOWN

The Fruits of The Spirit (Continued)

" ____________________________________ BRINGS ME DOWN (SORROW)."
Nehemiah 8:10
Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Define SORROW in your own words.

Make a list of things and people who bring you down based on your definition.

What does SORROW “look like”?

What/who is your greatest sorrow? How do you know?

When people see you, do they see your sorrow? (explain)

How can you turn your sorrow into joy?

Locate a scripture that supports that goal.

Closing Thoughts - 5 minutes for ME:

Take 5 minutes to recap your day. Do the following evaluation:

· What did I do well today?

· What didn't work so well today?

· What can I do differently tomorrow?

*extra credit, review the previous day and see if you applied anything from your 5 minute reflection
