¨JOY

¨PEACE

¨LONGSUFFERING (PATIENCE)

¨GOODNESS

¨FAITHFULNESS

¨GENTLENESS

¨SELF CONTROL

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

What did you pick for #1 (your strongest and why?)

What did you pick for #8 (your weakest and why?)

Which would you like to be your strongest and why?

In The Beginning...

OVERVIEW:
This is a blog focussed on dedication, consicration and renovation of ones self and their envirornment.  I pray that through these assignments you will have an awakening of yourself and your walk with God will increase beyond your hearts desire and your personal life will improve as a result of it!! I love you ladies and I see you as God designed...GT's! Prov. 18:22
The following is an overview of the challenge. This will give you an idea of what to expect.

WHAT MY ROLE IS:
As the First Lady of this ministry, I will not be a bystander.  I hold a high regard for each and every one of you investing your time into this process.  For that reason, I will be completing the same assignments just as I did on the first 20-day challenge.   I will share my thought throughout the process and even give insight on what you all share and ask.  I will uphold your words with confidentiality and I will pray over each and everyone of you to fulfill exactly what God's will is for you!

WHAT YOUR ROLE IS:
  • Your role is to pray about your commitment to this process.
  • Commit to 20 days of dedication, reflection and renovation.
  • Post on this blog the following: "I commit to the 20 day challenge" and anything else you'd like to add about your expectations of this challenge.
    • Death and life are in the power of the tongue so you have to confess success!
  • Complete the 20 assignments (at your pace) but with a goal to complete before the end of 2012!
  • Write about your experience and post your thoughts, questions, reflections at least once a week, but preferably at the conclusion of each assignment...or even during!
  • Maintain confidentiality - what people share is for their growth and to keep their commitment to approach change as a team, not to gossip, beat down and/or share outside of those participating in the assignment. Please respect one another during this delicate time.
  • Set yourself up for success and be open to change and grow!
THE PROCESS:
  • I will post 20 individual assignments for you to complete at your pace (with a goal to complete before the end of 2012).
    • There will be 20 different blog entries, but I will post them all at one time. So be sure to scroll down and/or make sure you are on the right assignment.
    • I encourage you to go in order, there is a method to going from 1-20 and not Skipping assignments! Even if they are tough, press through and don't rush.  Take your time, Go at your pace - no one is judging you.  The goal is to COMPLETE IT!
  • You will journal privately (recommend a new/separate/private journal of pc file that you are comfortable being honest with/in).
  • You will then post on "that day" (that you do the assignment) about what you learned, questions and/or suggestions.
  • Lastly, be sure to notify me when you have COMPLETED the assignment.  The only request is that you send me an email (to the address GTministry@lovusa.org) letting me know an overview of the following, but not limited to:
    • What was the easiest assignment?
    • What was the hardest assignment?
    • How did you grow?
    • What did this Challenge mean to you?.
FAQ:
If someone wants to join in that was not in our meetings can they?
Yes, But the only request is that you advise them that the posts are to be held within the group participating as to respect peoples privacy.
Is the blog private?
Unlike the previous blog, I have left this one open to allow for easy following and access to those participating.
If I have a question about the assignment what do I do?
I recommend you post your question openly in the event that you are not the only one with the question, but if you are more comfortable, use the email address: gtministry@lovusa.org and I will respond as soon as possible.
What do we get for completing the challenge?
Not only will you be able to check off the COMPLETE box on your to-do list (lol) but we will have a 2013 huddle up where we express our lessons learned and applications working in our lives. At that time, each completed GT will receive a personal statement of appreciation from myself (that may be a certificate, it could be something else, but it will be from the heart).
